SOCIAL MEDIA ON THE MOVE - 140 characters can go a long way

The second New Media Breakfast of 2010 is taking place on Friday 19th March and is hosted by Winning Entrepreneurs & Podcastmatters.  The New Media Breakfasts take place on a monthly basis and are open to anyone with an interest in new or social media, therefore if you would like to bring any guests, you are welcome to do so.  The ticket price of £15 includes tea/coffee and a bacon roll.

Twitter is on everybody's fingertips, status updates are fast becoming a way of life and the corporate world is getting in on the act; the second New Media Breakfast will examine various web based sites that help you make full use of Twitter and other social media platforms whilst on the move.

We'll also take a look at some of the smartphone platforms such as: Symbian, Android, iPhone, Windows, Linux and Blackberry.

We are delighted to have Iain Murray to present on this extremely topical subject.  Iain made this presentation at the last Glasgow New Media Breakfast and the feedback has been fantastic. Everyone in attendance, whether experienced in social media or not, thoroughly enjoyed the interactive and informative presentation put over in an entertaining manner.

To make the presentation two projectors were used so that everyone in the room could interact with Iain on Twitter during his presentation. For those not familiar with Twitter there were short breaks where he and others helped everyone get in on the act.

Whether you are a regular user of Twitter and other mobile related platforms or a complete novice, we can promise you will find this breakfast presentation a most worth while and productive experience.
